The DCAT Chorus is an amateur performing vocal ensemble of more than forty men and women singing a cappella in six and eight part harmony. Our broad repertoire of over sixty songs range from Broadway favourites to folk, from pop to traditional, and patriotic to devotional. Music is delivered with energy, showmanship and a passion for entertaining. We perform without music books, no programmed accompaniments to tie us down and no set musical form or style. For some pieces, we add brass and percussion elements (all performed live), choreography and dance elements. Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 10 pm at Estonian House, 958 Broadview Avenue, Toronto. The Membership fee is $75 per year and uniforms are initially supplied at no cost. If you wish to become an Associate Member (non-singing), the fee is $35 per year, which includes receiving notification of DCAT concerts and activities as well as our very own DCAT newsletter, “Purr-spective”.
